Time. What do you immediately think of?<\/p>\n
At the moment, I tend to think of how little time I have (which is silly really – there are still 24 hours in the day). I have a busy life, I like it that way, but sometimes I think it gets too busy, and things miss out.<\/p>\n
Ironically, I find that the most important things are often the first to go – or at least that’s how it works for me. The Bible says: Love the Lord<\/span> your God with all your <\/em><\/a>heart and with all your <\/em><\/a>soul and with all your strength.<\/em> Deut 6:5 (NIV) – Surely following this commandment would make God the most important – and I do try my best to follow it. Yet, when I’m busy and pressed for time my daily bible reading and praying suffer, but my shower doesn’t get any shorter, I usually find time for my coffee, there’s always time to check facebook.<\/p>\n I know from experience, that if you really want to do something you can make time. So, bold as it may be, I’m going to try and make a concerted effor everyday to make time to read my bible and pray and follow God all day. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to steal a line from Hiillsong United – All Day there!)
